RMIC PRE-HOMEOWNERSHIP EDUCATION COURSE
A Self Study Educational Program designed to guide the Homebuyer through the process of purchasing a home.
The Republic Mortgage Insurance Company (RMIC) Online Pre-Homeownership Education Course covers the aspects of purchasing and owning a home, including selecting a home; credit analysis; budgeting; financing the purchase; terminology and purchase contract; closing the loan; and maintaining the property. This course is an excellent tool for potential homebuyers and provides the convenience and flexibility to learn at your own pace.
The RMIC Online Pre-Homeownership Education Course is available in English and is divided into five modules. This course was developed using the "RMIC Pre-Homeownership Education Course." Each module contains an important aspect of the home purchase process. After reading each module, you will be given a quiz to test your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. A passing score of 80% is required. Should you score less than this score, you will have the opportunity to review and retake the test. Upon successful completion of the entire course you will be issued a Certificate of Completion.
You must register to begin the RMIC Online Pre-Homeownership Education Course and read our Privacy Policy. After the registration form has been submitted you will receive an email confirmation with your personal user ID, password and website link to login and begin the self-study course. Before beginning this course, please contact your lender to this method of education is approved.
