Financial Literacy Education
Whether you are nearing retirement or barely in your teens, financial literacy is necessary to becoming self-sufficient! At the Center for Financial Literacy, we believe that it is our responsibility to help consumers become knowledgeable about money and credit.
We extend our borders into the community to provide financial literacy to community organizations, businesses, schools, youth groups and individuals. We develop personalized curricula to meet the needs of our audience.
Our programs include: borrowing basics, budgeting, goal setting and recordkeeping, savings and investing, credit management, and much more.

New Century IDA - The IDA program is a matched savings plan for potential first-time homebuyers. The Center for Financial Literacy provides Economic Literacy Training for participants enrolled in the New Century IDA program through the Experiment in Self-Reliance. Participants enroll in a 10-month program to gain financial literacy. A copy of the curriculum can be found in the documents below.
